*my favourite drink for over a decade now, also my friend, my travel companion, my mentor & my home. Thank you for always being there when I need it the most. Thank you for reminding me of what home feels like. Thank you for being a part of my life adventure.

“… so delicate, but potent. It makes us a bit more human – is that ache in your heart for a place or someone that no longer exists, a sneaky magician. One that takes us by surprise in the most lucid way possible”
― Efrat Cybulkiewicz

We all know that life will restart from zero by the time we choose to take a new turn on our path, but the question that we need to ask ourselves is “What does zero mean in this place?”

We all need to find something that reminds us of home all the time. That’s how resilience was born. When we pass that bitterness phase, we no longer feel the need to resist the change.

Yes, I agree. You got all those feelings of strangeness when you first read a book in a language that wasn’t yours. But hang on to it. Try it again another time. And then another time. And then another time. And believe me, one day it will becomes yours.

Maybe the idea of right and wrong is merely an illusion from all the standards of the society we live in. Wouldn’t it be much simpler to just say that “it’s a life experience”?

It’s inevitable. The longer we try to hang on to that outdated idea of what home should feel like, the harder it will be for us to adapt, to change and to find our people. They are just right there in the corner waiting for us.

The magical thing about this is that when it becomes yours, you will be able to understand the depth of almost everything you read even if you don’t know all those strange and complicated words. You just feel it.

At the end, we all have to choose one or the other,

“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”

― Albert Einstein
